ATLAS
Les paroisses et missions catholiques et protestantes au Bas-Canada jusqu`en 1839 Article diffusé depuis le 13-janvier

En 1839, le Bas-Canada compte 258 paroisses et missions catholiques, et 98 paroisses et missions protestantes, principalement anglicanes, presbytériennes et méthodistes. Plusieurs de ces établissements ne sont cependant plus actifs en 1837, mais représentent néanmoins des jalons toponymiques importants pour comprendre la géographie humaine du Québec à l`époque des Rébellions.
